Yannick VESCHETTI graduated from the INSA Rennes engineering school in 2002.
He completed his thesis in 2005 at the Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg on the development of high efficiency photovoltaic cells. Then he joined CEA, where he continued his R&D work in the field of photovoltaic, working closely with industry. He progressively held the positions of project manager, platform manager, laboratory manager and department manager. He passed his Research Direction Habilitation at INSA Lyon in 2017 and was appointed Research Director at CEA in 2022.
In the same year, he becomes CEO and co-founder of the startup HELIUP.
Yannick VESCHETTI is the author and co-author of over 60 publications and 17 patents.
