Mark RICHARDS
Technology Manager ■ U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY
Mark Richards is a Technology Manager in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office. Technology Managers develop and manage DOE-funded RD&D efforts as well as formulate programmatic technology goals and objectives. His primary focus area is hydrogen infrastructure–encompassing hydrogen distribution, handling, and delivery.
Before joining DOE, Mark worked for over 25 years in alternative energy technology development as the Operations and Product Planning Manager at fuel cell developers FuelCell Energy and Versa Power Systems and as the Hydrogen Program Manager at GTI Energy. Mark holds an MBA from Indiana University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
